Congratulations on your acceptance into the MMIAM program, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study arts and cultural management across five global cities: Dallas, Montréal, Bogotá, Beijing, and Milan. During this year you will gain invaluable insights from world-class professors, visit leading cultural institutions, and connect with a global network of arts professionals.

Confirm Your Enrollment
To officially secure your spot, please send your confirmation letter to our admissions team by the deadline provided in your offer letter.
Pay Your Deposit
A $750 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your place in the program. This amount will be deducted from the total tuition fee before the remaining balance is divided into three installments.
Apply for Your Student Visas
You will need a student visa for each country where you will be studying. The visa process varies per country, so start your applications as soon as possible. Our team will provide guidance for:
- USA (Dallas, SMU) – F-1 student visa
- Canada (Montréal, HEC Montréal) – CAQ + Canadian study permit + visa
Details about how to obtain the visas for our satellite visits in Colombia, China, and Italy will be provided to you once you are in Montréal.
Arrange Health Insurance
Health insurance is mandatory for all MMIAM students. Each country has its own requirements, and students must arrange coverage before arriving. Our team will provide guidance for securing:
USA: SMU health insurance policy : Mandatory health insurance must be purchased through SMU for Fall 26. The fee is US $1600 and covers students from August 17 – December 31, 2026 (price subject to change).
Canada: HEC Montréal insurance coverage : If you are not eligible for an exemption, mandatory health insurance must be purchased through HEC for Winter 27. The fee is CA $396 and covers students from January 1 – May 15, 2027 (price subject to change).
Plan Your Housing & Travel
Each location has compiled recommendations for housing. You will also need to book your flight to Dallas and then back from Milan.
