The MMIAM students experienced an expanded international schedule this year, with three additional locations added to their already packed itinerary. While future opportunities may vary, this added dimension enriched the program’s global perspective.
Thanks to a generous funder, MMIAM 11 spent seven days at a stunning castle in Potentino, Tuscany, learning about rural arts development amidst an ancient Etruscan archaeological site. This video was shot during their stay.
Also, thanks to a generous endowment fund and our partners at Southwest Airlines, MMIAM 12 spent five days in Washington, DC and New York City meeting with managers from the NEA, League of American Orchestras, Capitol One Art Collection, Lincoln Center Theater, Carnegie Hall, MoMA, and the Wallace Foundation.
