Program COSTS
Costs, Scholarships & Financial Assistance
The MMIAM program tuition is competitively priced to reflect the global learning opportunities it offers.
The program costs US $52,800 including around $5,000 travel fees:
- Airfare between Dallas and Montréal, Montréal and Bogotá then back to Montréal, Montréal to Beijing and then to Milan
- Hotel and ground transportation while in Bogotá, Beijing and Milan
Additional costs that are NOT Included in tuition fees:

- Compulsory insurance on each campus
- School books and other learning materials
- Housing in Dallas and Montréal
- Food and meals
- Travel between your city and SMU Dallas, and between Italy and your city
Internal Program Scholarships
The program offers internal tuition scholarships to support incoming students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their academic and artistic growth, as well as financial need. Our admissions committee carefully reviews each applicant’s profile, and scholarships are awarded based on a combination of your achievements and your financial circumstances. By submitting a thoughtful application—including your transcripts, experiences, motivation, essays, and letters of recommendation—you can maximize your chances of receiving a scholarship.
These scholarships are designed to make the program more accessible and to recognize your dedication to the arts. If you’re interested in applying for tuition assistance, simply complete Essay #1 as part of your application.
Competitive $25,000 scholarships may be awarded to meritorious applicants from Latin America or other developing countries.
